Well, some of us were off, but not so fast!! Jan, far left.
That is a tuktuk behind Alan. It's the most common form of transportation. It's a motorcycle with a 6-seater carriage behind it.
There were water stops about every mile along the way. Notice Alan soaking wet shirt!

OH, OH, Uphill. . .Well, neither of us won any medals, but Alan ran the 10 KM in 1 hour, and came in #20, out of about 120. Not bad for being old enough to be most of the runners father (or EVEN GRANDFATHER!). It took us walkers about 1 hour, 40 minutes, but we had an awfully good time!!! And WE oldest ones weren't the last ones! Some younger ones even finished in the van!
